Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I am officially graduating from Liberty Common High School on May 21, 2021, a whole year early! Rather than heading straight to college, I have decided to take a gap year with a youth ministry organization called World Race.  Over the course of nine months, I will be involved in service ministry in three countries.

My journey will begin in September 2021 when my team will rally at the World Race Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, for our initial training.  This training will be essential to solidify the unity of our team, teach essential cultural competencies, acclimate us to rugged living conditions, and prepare our hearts and minds for the many challenges we will encounter.

I will spend my first three months abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica, where our team will do sports ministry, community outreach, children’s ministry, and manual labor.  My second destination is Craiova, Romania, where we are going to be doing evangelism, bible distribution, and community outreach.  Our last destination is Siem Reap, Cambodia, where we are going to focus solely on community outreach. After I get back from the World Race, I plan to continue onto college. I am so thankful to have already been accepted into several Universities; I plan to defer my enrollment until August 2022.

In order to fulfill this wonderful opportunity of service, I need to fundraise $15,800 dollars (Currently, I have fundraised ~$2000).  My goal is to be fully fundraised when the World Race begins in September.  In addition to fundraising letters, I am planning several other fundraising activities such as selling t-shirts and other fun items, babysitting, etc. I am working 15-20 hours per week as a barista and saving as much money as I can towards my goal! If you would like to support my trip to Costa Rica, Romania, and Cambodia, there are multiple ways to do so. Any level of support to help me reach my goal would be greatly appreciated!

Here is how you can financially support me:

  1. Check: Fill out the enclosed card with all the proper information along with the check, then mail it to the given address: P.O. Box 742570, Atlanta, GA, 30374-2570. All donations directly to the World Race are tax deductible. You can also give a check to me and I will deposit it for you.

  2. My Website: Go to https://peytonkaiser.theworldrace.org and select the “donate” option. This is also tax deductible. It also offers an amazing recurring donation option, if chosen your donations will come out automatically each month until I am fully fundraised.

  3. Venmo: username is @peytonkaiser  – I will then deposit this into my World Race account. This option is not tax deductible

  4. Cash: You can give this to me in person or mail it, and I will deposit into my fundraising account.

More than anything, please pray continually that God would prepare our hearts and the hearts of whom we are serving to receive His love! Also, that I will place my security in the Lord, knowing He is my strength and comfort. Trusting always in His word: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” Jeremiah 29:11. I would love to share my excitement about this great opportunity with you, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

With Love and Gratitude,

Peyton Kaiser
